Is it screwback? I've seen such a badge billed as "AIR DEFENCE AWARD BADGE Instituted in 1975 and awarded for 15 years of good service. Made of brass, German silver, and enamels, two-piece construction, screwback...Rare!" :)

It's a 1975 Air Defense badge, that was awarded for 15 or more years of service. Made by Leningrad Mint; tombac and German silver.

I recently got this very beautiful badge at e*** for a rather good price. I think it is not very common.

I will post better pics when it has arrived.

Anyone here who got a similar one?

Yep, I've got several of these little buggers wrapped in paper in their original issue boxes (straight from the LMD shop).

Well, it is the SPbM shop now... and they don't have those (or any other genuine) Soviet beauties for sale anymore.
