Re: Podvig question: paper watermark?
Here is an example of paper captured from Slovakia. I've had this a few years but not really paid much attention.
A citation of the 226th Rifle Division.

Re: Podvig question: paper watermark?
I researched this for somebody else, so I'd rather not post it here. It's the citation of a 500K Glory 3rd Class awarded to a Khalkha Mongolian Tsirik (Private). The citation was signed by General Issa Pliyev in his capacity as Commander in Chief of the Soviet forces in Mongolia.

Re: Podvig question: paper watermark?
If the citation is on "the site" you could just provide a link. Mind you some of those later awards are taking their time showing up.... but are coming - slowly but surely.

Re: Podvig question: paper watermark?
Since we're on the subject of foreign paper, this is a prikaz printed on a captured document from the German 3rd Mountain Division:

Re: Captured And Repurposed Paper
Here's a message the Germans never received. It awarded a Red Banner after being captured by the 6th Army in 1943.
