Eddie, what do you mean by "issue" - "class"? I'm referring to the first class made of gold, I assume 14K.

I'm confused because this thread uses at no less than the following terms: emissions, stages, classes, and issues.

The type I am referring to is featured in Frame #8 - Dmitrov prize from apparently the 70's.

tis all a bit confusing,

Emission and issues (version) are just variations depending on the year they were made.
class speaks for itself
The one you mean I think is the 1st class 1970 issue (emission, version)
The term emission is used by the guys at the well known Bulgarian shop, i think they are the only ones who use it in descriptions.
