According to the 2008 Census of the DPRK the number of actively barracked forces of the Korean People's Army was 662,349 Men and 40,023 Women which would mean that women only make up 6% of the Korean People's Army.

Very interesting, thanks! They do deflate the census numbers of course. The official stats are lower what we recognize in the West--that they are closer to 1 million under arms. (Which the DPRK say is ridiculous ;) )

I prefer the DPRK traffic ladies myself. :)

Here's another that has had such a life that the pin has had to be clumsily replaced. Once again the paint "enamel" has not done well.
