Willie, of course you are right. I was guessing that the middle letter could have been misread and when the word in question is accompanied by something like 16cm it may well have been just the dimension of the item. The word RAEMER does not sound very Russian but I may be wrong.

Sergei, you are right, it does mean "size"........I put the english word "size" in the translation box and it comes up with РАЭМЕР......but it doesn't translate РАЭМЕР to english, go figure?
BTW, I use this translation site: Im Translator : Free Translation Service |

Prometheus,
That is because you used the letter "Э" instead of the letter "З". They look somewhat similar, but in fact are quite different. Try doing the following thing, using your online translator: type in "size" and translate to Russian; then copy the result, and translate it back to English. I believe that, magically, you are going to get the word "size". Marc |

Prometheus,
They've used a rather unfortunate Rusian font in that translator, here is the difference between the two letters in the words that sound similar in both languages. Everest - Эверест Zoology - Зоология On your boards, I am now more or less convinced they meant Size 16cm. Sergei |

Not exactly, the difference is in the way it sounds; E is more like "yeah" and Э like e in "great".
