I don't think it is Navy. They would be almost black in colour. This one is dark olive colour.

I thing that Vvadim is talking about the jacket, not the gymnastyorka. In this case, it is indeed blue.

Believe it or not, I was talking about the jacket too. But I hve just moved to a different computer and it looks a lot bluer than on the last one. On the other monitor it looked dark olive.

I got a gymnastiorka too some years ago and it looks very different from all the ones I´ve seen. It has no breast pockets and the color is lighter (it is not for the age). Buttons are also unmarked. I´m starting to think that it is a fake since there´s nothing that determines which year it is from. And I paid $80 for this eventual cr@p.

Not neccessarily, there were Gyms that were used during the war that had no breast pockets. The lack of them does not automatically make it a fake, and the fact that there are no date markings on the buttons could make it a wartime example.
