There are still hundreds (if not thousands) of award-on-awards. So far only the Soviet Union and Russia has been touched upon (and neither of those have been exhausted by any means). There are still hundreds of countries to chose from and most of them will have awards which will score big points here. There are some very clever high scoring awards out there.....

This competition has only just begun and is FAR from over!

To show an award displayed on an award, here is one are (two?).

The British China War Medal 1900 (proper name in original language: "China War Medal 1900"). It was issued in both silver to combat troops and in bronze to non-combat troops ("followers"). There was no award certificate.

Queen Victoria is wearing the star and sash (and, presumably the sash badge too, but we can't see that) of The Most Noble Order of the Garter. She also seems to be wearing the Royal Order of Victoria and Albert.

The silver medal (with clasp "RELIEF OF PEKIN") is named on the edge to "119 Sapper Niamatullah. Bo S & M. [Bombay Sappers and Miners]".

The bronze medal (with the same clasp) is named to "BO Servt Rajoo Singh Jodh I S Lcrs [British Officer's Servant, Jodhpur Imperial Service Lancers]".

For the record, I also show the Garter Star.

I don't know if this will yield points since similar photos have already been posted, but I'll post this one anyway:

A Senior Lieutenant with - visible on the lower right of the photo - the Jubilee Medal for 50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 (Юбилейная медаль «50 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941—1945 гг.»), featuring the Order of the Patriotic War (Орден Отечественной войны, the actual order visible on his lapel), and the Jubilee Medal for 60 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 (Юбилейная медаль «60 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941—1945 гг.»), featuring the Victory Order (Орден «Победа»). He also wears the Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 (Медаль «За победу над Германией в Великой Отечественной войне 1941—1945 гг.»), featuring Stalin with his Marshal's Star (Маршальская Звезда), Gold Star Medal (Медаль «Золотая Звезда») and ribbon bar.

The veteran, the 50 Years of Victory Medal, a Russian documents for one of these, the 60 Years of Victory Medal and a Russian documents for one of these:
