Re: Translation Help
Thanks so much, fellas. I appreciate your timely assistance.
I'm trying to get this name in typed Cyrillic so I can use the Russian research site. I've got a bunch of docs for Pvt. Chinskii but only one awards doc (and that a Bulgarian medal). So is Гинеику, Николай or Николај Автономовиу close?

Re: Translation Help
Thanks! Гинеику was not working at 'the site'.
I get the "Записи не найдены. Возможно, эта информация еще не загружена в базу данных Работа по обработке и загрузке информации продолжается." error message now, using either spelling. :( * (Records aren't found. Probably, this information isn't loaded yet into a database Work on handling and information loading proceeds.)

Re: Translation Help
I'll save you some grief and tell you now he's not there.....
Chinskij Chineskij Nor Nikolaj Avtomonovich I would NOT suggest searching by "Nikolaj".

Re: Translation Help
It can be true Russian roulette... but the price is always right and you can always have fun with accidental finds.

Re: Translation Help
40th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War appears with Georgian stamp issued May 8th, 1945. Can anyone please provide additional details, such as name and other particulars? Thank you very much!
