I like that statement.:thumbsup The amazing number of badges created from imagination after 1991 run the gamut from cheap aluminum pressed into various shapes - mostly imperial style crosses - with thick paint and sealed with clear coat to give the illusion of actual enamel to some fairly decent screw backs that sometimes look better than actual RF badges. Indeed, if it can be dreamed...

Eric: of course what Marc said is perfectly correct. I think I even have a just-over-slightly worn one of these if that is what you are after.

One thing off the top of my head that I would suggest looking at are the rings on these 1960s and onward civilian medals. They were mostly (though not always) made as part of the medal and then sheared to shape. By the very nature of improved minting practices there are fewer imperfections in the "100% original[s]";)
