Guys,
I have seen a boxed VS badge, and it was a rather plane green box with cheap felt. I am not sure if it was original, though it looked like it. Here's the HSU/HSL box in question. Alexei |

Guys,
Sorry not to go along with the flow here, but these badges were produced by different factories at different times, therefore showing differences from one to the next. From the scans, I don't see anything that raises an immediate red flag; granted, I have seen better enamel work, but... The patina on the reverse seems genuine, and the screwpost seems to be properly soldered. Marc |
