There is just a little more to the document than it being awarded to the Moscow State University. Which will show why this document is somewhat rare and why it is watermarked with my name.

desantnik - what makes this document interesting is that it has not been signed down in the lower right corner along with not having the raised seal on the left side of the document.

This award document is dated in 1971, but it was not awarded and likely scrapped because of a problem with the document itself. (Basically the document may have failed a quality control).

That makes sense. Somehow, I can't imagine that MGU's award diploma has leaked into the "private sector".

A couple of documented awards... a 2nd Class Banner to Dr. Dieter Liebau awarded on May Day, 1980 and a 3rd Class Banner to Edelgard Raubold awarded May Day of 1985. Note the difference in the finish between the earlier and later orders.
