Marxism-Leninism University Graduate Badge.

Attached are three (3) versions of the University of Marx and Lenin badge. Is anyone here acquainted with these badges and can tell me why they're different? Could it be versions of the same badge or levels within the university? Thanks for the help.

Hi Greg,

I have graduation badges from the University of Leningrad which show the same red and blue variations.

The paperwork with them suggests the following:

1. Blue = "standard" graduation
2. Red = graduation with "distinction"

With regard to the two blue badges, if my eyes don't deceive me, the one on the right has 15 scrolls on the badge of the USSR (basically post-war) whereas the central one has 11 (basically pre-war).
