Do you have any knowledge on when the silver boards for technical personnel was taken out of use? I used to own a M/69 set for a colonel-technician several years ago, that one was a 1970s set.

I have no access to the regulation books right now, but if I remember correctly, in air force silver-field officer's shoulderboards were abolished in 1974 or 1980. Anyway, they were not in use already when 1988 regs were publiushed.

No,no, It's parade boards of course. I meant "board field" as a translation of "polye pagona" which simply means the shoulderboard's main space which for the majority of officer's parade boards is gold. It's just the term they use in the regulations.
