Paul, I'm sorry if we disagree, but maybe for these badges I feel prepared, having collected many of them, including crudely fakes. :(

This should be the screwplate for the badge of our friend, if only he deigns to give measurements, and post photos of your screw plate...:rolleyes:

I haven't found any information about this badge online more than it was issued in 1947.

The measurements are 46x37 mm. I'm pretty sure the screw plate that came with the badge doesn't actually belong to the badge.

Unfortunately no, I was simply looking for a 'real' version of the one in post 296 (which was was thought a fake)!
Could be more fakes? Were on a Russian collectors website with lots of critics (so if fake, must be pretty good fakes).

It looks like a nice "early" piece.

These now sell for around $30 a piece, it used to be a lot more but prices are plummeting over the board.

It certainly can be offered on the forum marketplace.
