Might I suggest that you maybe make "suppliments" available for a modest fee? You could create a PDF of say, "ORS" and sell them as downloads for $5.00. This way, when you expand as much as you do but are not ready to publish, you can provide to those interested with the written understanding that this information will be available in a future publication.

Desantnik,

I have asked somebody else for this information and apparently the highest number observed before the gap was 2290XXX, and the lowest number after - 2500XXX.

I might add that this is not a unique case. There were also gaps in production of other awards, when orders were placed with different mints, like MZPP and KMD. If memory serves, MZPP production of OGPW 2nd stops at about 667XXX, and KMD picks up at about 680XX.

Alexei

Thanks. I too mentioned the two RB gaps.

Got the star in today, what say ye!

ok, so I got my "2.4 million" star today. I can tell you that it is a new variation in my mind, since it has curved in edges on the back and a slight concaveness to it. And this bit of info, it has a slight dimple under the H&S. However, no signs that the number was altered.

Here is the shot of the number. What is the consenses now? The placement of the numbers reminds me of the MZPP but the numbers don't really.

Jeff,

No way that is a "4".

Did you ask Alex Filler about that star. He's probably the most experienced in this area.

Wowsers! ! ! ! !

Bill, I think you just won the most-impressive-first-post award. :)

Very nice collection indeed.

How 'bout a shot of all of them together (if such a thing is possible)?
