Medal "For Labour Distinction".
It's all good! Keep posting.... The posts have a way of finding the right places. They need to be posted first though.

It is quite reassuriing when a group contains both awards for merits in military and civilian life. Not just someone who was in the right place at the right time or a one trick pony.
I suppose the most frequent "cross over" could be a driver. Competent under fire and reaching labour quotas. Certainly lots of driving occuring in the "Virgin Lands" campaign to name but one. Here is a Medal Booklet to Mihail Stepanovich Sechko for a "For Combat Merits" which will almost certainly be for 10 years service. The date is quite interesting. If the Medal was awarded exactly 10 years to the day into his service (which is highly unlikely) it would mean he started his service the day after "Victory Day" missing service during the Great Patriotic War. It is also possible that this single award is a complete group.

Reunited after 60 years!
A "class reunion" of sorts, ten away from each other by serial number, awarded on the same day, and written by the same hand.
