Rusty-

The show has 'open public' visiting on Saturday. Being a member and registering ($100 registration fee) allows you to get into the show early (Thursday and Friday) take part in the seminars, as well as the Friday morning breakfast and Saturday evening banquet.

Even though I'm an OMSA member, I won't be getting to the show till Friday evening, and with my wife and toddler daughter in tow, I won't be attending the Saturday evening banquet. Thus, I don't plan on registering and will only be going into the show during the public hours on Saturday (the difference between $8 admission and the $100 registration fee!)

Yolkin and I are thinking of flying in for the Saturday show...

How many members are planning on attending?
Do you want to meet up for some drinks & shoot the breeze?

Thanks,

Rusty.

Rusty-

I'll be there, so that makes at least three of us. I'd be happy to meet somewhere.

I will be there on Saturday, and I think, Eugene is going, as well.
See you all there, comrades!

Gentlemen,

We, as a group need to decide where we'll meet.

I'm not sure if everyone wants to meet afterwards for drinks/food or walk the tables as a group!?!

Any ideas?

Rusty.

Now THAT would be fun... "I'm gonna buy it..." "No, I'M going to buy it...." "NO, I'M GOING TO BUY IT!" ::tussle ensuing::

I think after the show on Saturday evening would be grand. We have a few weeks to figure out a place, but my suggestion would be to meet at a central point, say, at one point in the lobby, and then go from there...

I took a look at the floorplan of the lobby & ground floor in the hotel's brochure (downloadable from Adams Mark Philly ) and I think that we should meet at the bar in Players. It's a relaxed environment, and the early folks can knock back a beer while waiting for everyone else to show up. We can then figure where else to go from there.

I'd guess we could meet at 6PM on Saturday (the bourse closes at 5PM). That's when the OMSA banquet starts, but I don't think any of us are going to the banquet (if someone is, we can reschedule). Any thoughts?

6 PM it is, then!!!

How about reserving under "Soviet-Awards Party" for the first one there? The rest will ask for the party and will be directed there?
