This Red Star is genuine. It happens to be a variety that was manufactured during the war not at the State Mint, but at a factory called MZPP (Moskovskiy Zavod Platino Pribor). Marc |

Red Star without medallion
An interesting item image from eBay shows a broken RS. #'d 690k makes it a T6V2. This image shows how the medallion was soldered to the star itself. Gives us an idea how this was constructed.
The enamel's weird looking.

Looks to me to be 2166658. I think the script, and the order overall, is quite an ugly specimen if real. Which I doubt based on the limited photo.
