Re: Fake Orders of Labor Glory

Any oppinions about this second class s/n: 26.628?
The engraving of the serial number looks different to other 2nd class pices in this range.

I attached a picture of s/n: 26.676 for camparison.

Does anybody have other serial numbers near by to compare the engraving style?

best regards and thanks
Andreas

Re: Fake Orders of Labor Glory

I have come over a collection with some better orders and medals, and I hope it is ok to post pictures here for your comments. (Long since I last was active, but I have been busy with other collectibles the last few years...)

According to Mondvor highest observed number was 0976.
As this is a very rare award, I can´t say somthing to this.

Re: Labour Glory.

Hello to everyone, just registered on this website. Would like to know your opinion about the authenticity of an OLG 2 which I am considering buying. Many thanks for feedback!

There are clear signs of erasure after the last digit. The surface is not even and the serial line is too short.
For me is :thumbsdown

clearly yes, and they didn't take the pain do put a bit of dirt over the spot polished. It seems the red enamel is not perfectly "pure", like if there was some dirt or reflects in it.

Re: Fake Orders of Labor Glory

Hello,
I'd like to get your opinion on this LG-2.
I'm concerned about a few things: quite deep "wells" for rivets (which are below the surface and are very shiny); and a few spots (visible under microscope) of blue enamel where its not suppose to be.
Thanks in advance for any comment!
