Thanks Alexei, I see what you mean about the signature. I don't think the current owner of this item even knows its fake. I wonder how many of these there are out there.

First of all, it is very interesting that they are named "Duplicate" on the top right page.
One way to tell if they are real or copies is to check the front cover. If you can read the writing on the ribbons in the Soviet coat of arms, then it is most likely real. Copies usually blur the letters so much that you can't read them. Hope this helps...

I believe that documents are genuine, but entries are not. I have already seen a bunch of documents with the same Nechiporenko signature and "Duplicate". Alexei |
