How would you transcribe this Bulgarian name? The handwriting is a little "rushed" for me to read it with ease.

I am Korean, So I can read it. and I also have his North Korean award group, So I can read easily.

Write as 'Simonov Ruben'(or Ruven, Luben...). In the document, there is write as 'Chief accountant Bugarian medical team' in the 'Job' section.

Oh, yes. In another his document, write as 'Simeonov Stoyanov Ljuben'. How did you know that?

Here is medal document from him. It is write as 'Ljuben Stoyanov Simeonov'

My focus is on Bulgarian and Korean items. With around 750 Bulgarian groups so far. I have come across the name before, but then again I've come across so many it's not true. It may be due to the fact I've come across an old photograph of his for sale a few years ago.

I think the Bulgarians awarded him an Order "Red Banner" for his efforts.

I see. This man died, so I think his award is separated. I have only his North Korean group. It would be great if I obtain more his award. sad.

As it happens I have a pair of awards to the Doctor's son L'chezar. He was/is an arboricultural engineer born in 1955. One of the awards is for blood donation which is rather fitting.

Searching deeper.. (although it would take months or years to search through all the documents in the collection)

We have a winner. 24th December 1951 dated "Ready For Labour And Defence" 2nd Class to a 29 year old Ljuben St. Simeonov.

I bought this from Bulgarian antique collecter.

I will keep this collection in my whole life time, So helping is very important to me even that was small help. I collect North Korean awards and document for historical research. In South Korea, there is too small quantity of DPRK stuffs, especially awards which awarded to foreigners during 1948-1950 and Korean war. There is no Korean war era DPRK order documents even in museum. (As you may know, South Korea doesn't allow anyting about Socialism, especially about N.Korea. So my collection is illegal, actually.)
