Re: When did you start collecting Soviet Awards?
Well, I bought a nice Order of Red Star (numbered between 900.000-999.999) on a market in Kabul, Afghanistan, during my deployment there with Danish Army.
I sold it a couple of years ago, and regretted it ever since. Inspired by some of the medals and groups with research, shown in the "Medal Collecting" group on Facebook, I bought my first Order of Glory III and a Medal for courage a moth or two ago. A "new" Order of Red Star has also found its way to me. I have recevied research on the first two. I'm not new to medal collecting. Have been collecting since I was 10 years old. Since my deployment to Afghanistan, I have collected British medals. In particular British medals to Danish born recipients. It is named medals or medals that can be researched that I collect. Research is everything! Regards, Bjorn |
