For a newcomer, it is a shame names cannot be named here. But I guess I understand why. But it does make the whole discussion rather closed and in the club.

medals73,
You are right. Feel free to PM me or any other member anytime you want clarification on any subject where the names are not mentioned. Rusty.

I think you make a good point here. As long as this would be a "Certificate of Guarantee", which IMHO is not exactly the same as a "COA" issued by PMD. Just my 2 cents, Dolf |

I think we all agree that, if we buy an order from a dealer and later discover it is a fake. They would take it back. Most will.
Even the dealer we keep referring too as not the best of dealers. He even took a medal back and refunded my money when it was found to be a possible fake. He was not that pleased about it, but he did it, and it was a year after I purchased it. Quote:

Well guys, if I can add my two cents here... the dealer we refer here, I had 1 transaction in my life with him and I will always regret it.
This was about the order of Mother Heroine which I discussed in the thread here: http://www.soviet-awards.com/forum/s...p?t=392&page=7 This man sold me a fake order of Mother Heroine and doesn't want to reimburse me. It has been over 7 months since the negotiation started with him and it's going to end now. I will get justice by other means. This dealer is totally dishonnest and is a thief. (Just not to create any confusion, I am referring to that dealer who is also selling coins and was attacked in his house few years ago.) Last edited by matteti; 02-02-2006 at 11:31 AM. |

I was referring to certificates offered by NJ dealer who is often described as the pace setter.

Guys,
I am not sure I understand - my guarantee is on the front page of my site for everybody to see. It's just a promise without any fancy certificates, but this is what my business is based on - mutual trust between me and the collectors. If we you talking about putting it on paper, I've always thought that my word is worth more. Alexei Quote:
