I am so glad I joined this forum. I almost made an uneducated purchase of this uniform. Only reason I did not put a bid in is my lack of knowledge when it comes to these uniforms.

$43.00 Shipping?

Is this indeed a joke, or am I missing something?

I think unscrupulous sellers do this to suck an unwary buyer in with the low price, not paying attention to the ridiculously high postage.

Guys, you are absolutely correct about the low price for a hat badge and enough money charged to ship the person still wearing the hat, too. How they really get you is in the shipping that is highly inflated but not enough to be shocking if you notice too late. They are counting on the stiff upper lip chaps to just pay three times the actual shipping (but not ten times) and then they get away with it.

The smarter the thief, the less he has to work. They should have their own ring in hell but Dante didn't have ePay to inspire him.

Is that seller from Poland? Sounds like google-translated description used by a local fake nazi badges seller, at least some points do.

Re: Ebay jokes

The extreme shipping seems to be the new way of scamming those who don't check shipping twice. eBay has of course taken action; or so I've read on WA - they now charge the final value fee on the shipping as well. Now that's clever, for our safety and for the well-being of the community, both eBay and the Ukrainan dicks have found a way to make an extra buck. It stinks.

I try to report all such excessive shipping fees; but I don't know if it helps. I guess the eBay staff just notice that the seller is in far-far-away land and "then 43 USD is probably what it takes". Yes. To have it sent overnight FedEx.
