Can you make some scan's also from the first page? With what ink the name is written? Regards, Lauri |

Alfred,
Apart from the overly dark patina on the bottom part of the OPW 2nd class, which is suspicious, the group seems fine to me. Marc |

Andreas,
That's a tough one - the front page looks OK with old ink, and a very convincing signature, and the ink inside the booklet is indeed different. Hmmm.... Sometimes they "season" this page, where the awards are listed, under the sun, untill all entries disapear completely, but this would be impossible to tell from a scan. I would suggest having this group researched. Alexei |

Thanks Alexei,
the group is not mine. It was on the favourite auction site, for a reasonable price. Some/most other items from the seller are fakes. So I will stay away! According to Kutzenko the dates of the awards fit to the date in the Order book. regrads Andreas |
