Jasjukevich, Lev Al'binovich, Engineer Lieutenant-Colonel

Here is a partial group to Engineer Lieutenant Colonel Lev Al'binovich Jasjukevich, of radio-technical troops.

Long service award dates and a missing OPWII mentioned on "the site" would suggest military service starting in late 1944 indicating that this "group" would be more associated with his training and long service rather than his awards for being a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.

Here is his certificate for the completion of the party school dated 30th May 1952 and issued by Political detachment of Military Unit 12621. Excellent results.

His 15th December 1954 issued Medal "For Combat Merits" booklet, for 10 years service, has a photograph which was added much later (as the next photograph will show).

Re: Engineer Lieutenant Colonel Lev Al'binovich Jasjukevich.

Here is his 3rd November 1959 dated document for "Class Specialisation". Awarded by Chief Of The Combatant Section Of The Artillery Order Patriotic War Radio Technical Academy Hero Of The Soviet Union Colonel Gevorov. Classification is in Operator Radio-Technical Troops 3rd Class on 1st August 1959, Specialist Radio-Technician 2nd Class in December 1960 and Operator 1st Class on 31st December 1965.
What I find most interesting is the HSU has signed by hand and with his own rubber stamp.

Which HSU do you mean? The stamp is from the Marshal of the Soviet Union L.A. Govorov Order of the Patriotic War Artillery Radio Engineering Academy.

His long service 2nd and 1st from January 1960 and 65 both awarded by artillery school whilst his rank is Captain (or at least it was in 1960)
A less common brown (and unfolded!) document for his Badge "25 Years Of Victory" serial number 13231, His rank is now Engineer Lieutenant Colonel.

That's right - the pitfalls of multitasking!

Re: Engineer Lieutenant Colonel Lev Al'binovich Jasjukevich.

Finally;
A 1971 awarded Mongolian "Mongolian People's Army 50th Anniversary" Medal (posted to Mongolia to teach Radio Technicians?)
A 19th February 1977 "Veteran" awarded by the Ministry Of Defence U.S.S.R. in Tbilisi.
Finally the info from "the site" showing him as born in 1920 in Kashrino Byelorussia.
It would seem that this is just a selection of what he would have been awarded.
