Document for the Medal Defense of Moscow awarded to Senior Lieutenant Yuri Nikolayevich Krinitskiy, Commander 3rd Rifle Squad, 147th Guards Rifle Regiment, dated January 15th, 1945 by the Commander of the 49th Guards “Kherson” Order of the Red Banner, Order of Suvorov Rifle Division, Major-General & Hero of the Soviet Union (#3414), Vasiliy Filippovich Margelov, Serial #Ch021890.

Here's a document issued in 1977 - no longer the flimsly wartime variation, but made of the same cardboard as the documents for all other campaign medals established after 1942. Issued to an inhabitant of the Tulchin Raion, Vinnitsa Oblast.

I have a question about this Defense of Moscow document. The document looks okay to me, but I'm curious about the typed entries.

Perfectly fine. Awarded to Major Stepan Stepanovich Simonenko 405th Rifle Regiment, 194th Rifle Division. Awarded by the Head Political Department Of The RKKA. The document just misses the 9 from 9th October 1944.

Also awarded a Red Star and Medal "For Bravery".
