Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
While working in the editorial staff of the “Forward for the Motherland” magazine, Comrade Mikhail Nikolaevich Zakharov has proven himself an experienced, highly qualified, and motivated photographic correspondent, who both knows and loves his work.
He continually situates himself in the line units where Comrade Zakharov has taken portraits of the best soldiers and commanders, recording their combat stories.
In the last three months Comrade Zakharov has had to accomplish the work of two photographic correspondents. Despite this, he managed to provide the publication high-quality and compelling photographs. Additionally, Comrade Zakharov has accomplished a series of special assignments for the political directorate.
Comrade Zakharov is disciplined, hard-working, and bold and valorous in combat situations.
He is deserving of the Bravery Medal.
