Hello. You are watch an excellent COPY of one of the most rare Soviet military awards "20 years of Soviet Partisan army (RKKA)". This award was established in 1923.

Officers and privates of regular army were not awarded by this medal. Only those who defended motherland as a partisan were awarded. This particular medal was established to 20 years anniversary of army that consists of workers and peasants (RKKA - Workers and Peasants Red Army). During civil war RKKA fought against former parts of Tzar army, and during WWII - as partisans against Germans.

Original medal costs about 800-1000$. This copy is very detailed and close to original. I know a man, that used to make those copies. After the collapse of a Soviet Union, he has stolen moulds that were used to make some Soviet Medals and Orders. This copy is stamped by original press and original mould. Tecnically - this is not a copy, this is a clone of original, that was made in early 90's. It is also numbered on thó rim. The condition of this one is 100% mint.

Unfortunately my camera has problems with colors :( (the background was a WHITE paper)In a real life medal looks much better and hardly can be distinguished from original.

It is sometimes funny to read, when ebay sellers write smth like that: " I don't know whether it is original or not", when trying to sell cheap fake for couple of dollars of badge or medal, that costs thousands. Now everything is honest&clear - this is Copy, yet it is the MOST CLOSE to the original. Still wonder about rather high price? - This is the only chance to buy not the copy, but the Identical Clone of original medal. Happy bidding, if you need more precise photos - write me!

i was thinking this would be a nice filler for my collection but o dn't know if the story is possible. also, if it was made from the original molds would it be considered to be an original medal that was never issued? here are some pictures. thanks everyone

I like the part about the medal being cloned. Gives it a mad scientist twist.
Very creative. :yow

Darrell,

As for as I can tell from the pictures, looks good. I think there is a slight posibility that the enamel might have been replaced.

Darrell,

I am not sure if I would be able to tell from a scan. It looks like there is a small nick on one of the rays under the enamel, and it makes me a little suspicious.
