Fake Medals "For Bravery"

Friends, how about this trio? This is part of a set that comes with a matching doc. The doc looks good, but I am a bit suspicious of the medals. Possibly buffed and new numbers impressed? Or good medals and just a trick of lighting?

I am leaning toward these being ok myself, but wanted to get a second opinion from the pros.

Even before looking at the close ups the answer is NO!, runaway unless you can get it for less than metal value.

Hey guys! Thanks, I knew there was something in my suspicions especially for Bravery 2 and Bravery 3. Here's the whole set (the homemade stitching looks convincing), with a closeup of the accompanying Glory and doc. I believe the doc and the Glory are ok.

Hi,

I think the booklet is ok; as it is the order of glory III. class and the victory medal of course. The bravery medals look strange; the reverses are too clean and shiny (polished?) somehow and the serial numbers (digits) are too small.

The sequencing of the medals on the bar is all wrong. The Glory should be first, then the Bravery Medals, then the Victory over Germany. Regardless, if you have any doubts about the piece, you know what to do.

Andreas, I could be very wrong about this, but I know of very, very few (if any) of the earliest "No" numbered BMs to maintain anything like perfect adherence of ALL the enamel like this one has. Considering the state of the suspension, I should think they were never really meant to be together.:rolleyes:
