Imperial Shoulderboards.

OK, so the first one is simple - looks like infantry podporuchik.
Single piece, size 7,5x17cm.
What would be it's value?

This pair is somewhat more troublesome.
It seems to be an unissued pair (but ruined by time and moths), but not for a military officer.
The lace on the frontside looks like generals' and seems to have been of greenish-silver colour, piping and stripes - of dark green colour (faded on one board) and the back - of red colour, but it has been almost compleately eaten by moths.
Surprisingly, the buttons are blank and have no stamps.
From the remains of paper labels on the back I can read:
1."...ASSEL'." and below"...roe serebro..."
2."...ovich".

Who would have worn them and what would be their value?

I was wondering if anybody could tell me what the insignia on this man's shoulder boards mean? Maybe rank and unit? I don't know a thing about Imperial stuff.

The basic system is fairly much the same as the Soviet one. In this case, one stripe (junior officer level) and 4 stars: Lieutenant-Captain.

The big "insignia" at the edge of the board is the current Tsar's cypher, in this case, "Н" and "II" for Nicholas the 2nd.
