Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

T-34 Tank Commander Comrade Gudeev is a bold, decisive officer. In fighting to penetrate the enemy defense west of the Oder river and on the close approaches to the city of Berlin, he displayed bravery and valor. During the fighting from 16-22.4.1945, he destroyed with his tank, three anti-tank guns, four anti-aircraft guns, two mortars, five heavy machineguns, four towing systems, twelve loaded vehicles, and as many as 85 Hitlerites. In vicious fighting for one of the crossings into the suburbs of Berlin, Comrade Gudeev’s tank was put out of action and he was wounded, but despite his wound he continued to fight the enemy and a second shell seriously shell-shocked Gudeev. In this battle he personally destroyed two anti-tank guns and as many as 25 Hitlerites. He is a fearless officers deserving of the Order of the Patriotic War II Class.
