Awarded on 7th August 1944.
Rifle Platoon Anti-Tank Rifleman, 3rd Infantry Battalion Private Ankilov, Ivan Filippovich, for that, on 15th July 1944, during the battle for the settlement point Sosnitsa, Berezov Region, Brest Oblast, accurate fire from his anti-tank gun suppressed three enemy machine gun positions, allowing the battalion to advance forward. In this battle, he personally killed five German soldiers. 1924 born, Ukrainian, Non-Partisan, At the front of the Patriotic War since May 1944, Wounds not had, Called to the RKKA in March 1944, Zavodsk Regional Military Commissariat, Nikolaevsk Oblast, Not awarded.
