At first glance, not an overly impressive group, even with an OPW 1.

But read the OPW 1 recommendation.

Today, I was seeing an iraqi war vet, a marine, in my clinic for some skin problems related to his amputation stump. He apparently noticed the shadow box with my medals in my office on his way into the exam room and actually thanked ME for MY service. How humbling. I thanked him for the kind words but pointed out that all I ever gave the country in my 28 years of service was time (and a bit of the hearing of my right ear). Some folks, like my marine and Sergeat Mamenko, gave so much more.
Great medal set with that sort of research behind it.
