A clear manipulation. I'd like to see the "Glory 1st" that allegedly accompanies this Ordenskaya Knizhka.
For what it's worth, the original Order of Glory 1st Class with s/n 116 may currently be viewed on the web site of one of the NYC-based dealers. In addition to the original Order of Glory 1st Class, he offers a photo of the winner, copies of his archival records and a signed Paul McDaniel letter attesting to the fact that s/n 116 was awarded to: Ivan Nikolaevich Khanikov.

When I saw the doc for sale - my first thought was to bid immediately, but checking the names against Cavaliers of Slava Orders book didn't yield the name in the doc.

Another fake, unfortunately.

Sad part is that the seller most likely is aware of the fact he's selling fake document and mentiones nothing of it in the listing description.

When I first saw the award book on ebay, I was SURE it was a fake, even before cheking the cavalieres book.

There was NO reserved price, (It was about $9.00 when I looked at it), and the "Glory trio" was, as common in this kind of fake entries, the last 3 entries in the award book.

Then, the handwrite of the Glory S/N is the same, and totaly different from the regular style and time period. After all that being said, I looked at the cavalieres book.....
