14th September 1943 during an enemy bombardment in the village of Staro-Majorovka in the region of the location of the moveable warehouses under the 6th Separate Auto Company, a direct hit of a bomb - ignited the ammunition of the Artillery Sections Exchange Point of the 4th Guards Rifle Division.
By the selfless activity on the part of Guards Senior Sergeant of 6th Auto-Company Chaenko despite of repeated bombing of the warehouses, the fire was liquidated.
At the moment of the liquidation of the fire explosions occurred from boxes of mines and cartridges, but despite of the danger Guards of the Auto-Company with danger to their lives prevented a fire - burying under earth the stacks of ammunition, thereby saving valuable cargo, machines and property of the Auto-Company, as well as a part of the personal staff of the Auto-Company.
