What type/Variation of the ORB is this? How does it fit on the R scale?

I love your ORB! To me it appears to be a type 2 Var.3 sub var.2 judging from the serial number range. Red Banners are my favorite soviet order I own 1 screw back myself id love to own more but the prices these days are a bit too high for me.

Thanks man! I love them too. There is no way that I could ever afford them now either. I am just really thankful that I was able to amass much of my collection in the early 90s. This particular one was bought for 190 dollars. It went so low(versus 250 dollars) because of enamel replacement.

What is the rarity of this variation, on the "R" scale?

Thank you for the ID on the variation. There are just so many variations and sub variations that I can no longer tell. I had this particular order researched.

It was awarded in 1943, to a Major for the Battle at Stalingrad.

Thanks for the reply. I do not see a Type 2 Variation 3 Subvariation 2 on that page. Do you need a photo for the reference? If so, I would love to allow you to use mine.
