Award record card error?
I recently saw an award record card which included the following:
Combat Merit Medal - 10.11.45 Order of the Red Star - 15.11.50 Order of the Red Banner - 30.12.57 This looks like a clear long service progression. But the Red Banner should be dated 30.12.56 instead of '57. Is it safe to say this was a clerical error? Or was there indeed an Ukaz of 30.12.57? And if so, what was it for? Thanks, Alex |
