White Gymnastiorka
According to Bekesi's book KGB & Soviet Security Uniforms and Militaria, the Police wore the white gymnastiorka.

Thanks!
Was it a parade uniform, or justsummer service? And How long were those in service? 1943-1969 or shorter? |

It looks like the white gymnastiorka was established as a summer uniform in 1923, and appears in successive uniform regs through that of 1958. It looks like it disappeared from the regs in 1965. Source: Sovetskaya Militsiya 1918-1991: Istoriya Rossiskovo Formennovo Kostuma
Taking another look at your picture, you definitely have the M1943 model, so it was in use from 1943 - 1965. Last edited by CtahhR; 04-16-2014 at 01:27 PM. |

I seem to recall Suvorov Academy Cadets weaing a white gym. If it is a small size maybe it could be one of these.

Thanks to both of You.
I have forgotten about suvorov cadets:o My fault. But hey indeed had such. However, I think It's militia, since it's rather large size (over 90cm breast) |
