Clearly and uninterruptedly serving officer and privates, especially shown in the high example of service to the officers and privates at Stalingrad, often risking his life serving at the front line. Is one of the initiators of the implementation of a life of cashless payments and attracting returns from military service personnel in deposits, only during 1943 attracting a retinue of 700 thousand rubles in deposits and over 150 thousand rubles gathered for the defence fund thereby helping to strengthen the defence of our Soviet State.

Participating in battle from 16th January 1945 to the current time Captain Babak despite of the difficult work conditions, in a timely manner his personal staff units provided monetary remuneration. All reports commissioned were timely and accepted by higher financial organs with good evaluation.
Being in the service of subunits of the regiment Captain Babak along with his main work provides practical help to the officers of its staff in the delivery and accounting of ammunition, produce and clothing equipment. Thereby contributing to the successful implementation of combat tasks of the regiment.

Although the reference to Stalingrad is rather general in his citation the 1028th Rifle Regiment ticks all the boxes for action at the factories. The 1028th liberated the Red October Factory, then the Barrikady and finally the Dzerzhinskij Tractor Factory - They even captured the headquarters of the 60th Motorised Infantry Division too. This paper shuffling pen-pusher may have only been sorting the finances but he was doing it at some of the most important sites of the whole war.
