Entitled K Blows Top: A Cold War Comic Interlude Starring Nikita Khrushchev, America's Most Unlikely Tourist by Peter Carlson

It's about a visit to the USA by Soviet Premier Khruchchev in 1959. Historically very interesting and quite amusing in spots we get a glimpse of a forward-thinking Soviet dictator on a working vacation through the US at the height of the Cold War.
Very interesting politically and personally, it improved my understanding of Khrushchev, Eisenhower and the general state of affairs of the world at that time.
It also briefly examines the U-2 Incident, Khrushchev's UN visit (and the shoe) and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Published in 2009, it should be readily available at booksellers and libraries.

Recommended.

He even visited Iowa and was so impressed with corn production that he started a program in central asia using our hybrid varieties. Of course it failed because Iowa's soil is more like Ukraine's rather than Khazahstan's....:rolleyes:
