Chief Marshal Of Aviation Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Novikov also received the Chief Commander Legion Of Merit but unfortunately the date is unknown (probably 5th June 1945).

Marshal Of The Soviet Union Rodion Jakovlevich Malinovskij also received the Chief Commander Legion Of Merit although I can only find drawings or paintings depicting him wearing it.

Many people state that Marshal Of The Soviet Union Ivan Stepanovich Konev was also awarded the Chief Commander Legion Of Merit - he was not. Konev was Commander Legion Of Merit.

Re: U.S. Army Decorations Awarded to Red Army Personnel in World War II
"The Stone" Colonel-General Vasilij Ivanovich Chujkov didn't meet the criteria of the Legion Of Merit but a Distinguished Service Cross is better than nothing!

Re: U.S. Army Decorations Awarded to Red Army Personnel in World War II
Here is a considerably rarer award. Twice Hero Of The Soviet Union Arsenij Vasil'evich Vorozhejkin wore his Distinguished Flying Cross long after 1945.
He was a commander of an interceptor squadron in the 728th Interceptor Regiment, 2nd Air Army.
