Re: Fake "Liberation of" Campaign Medals
Absolutely. I believe their are examples of fakes with "shovels" in the "Archive" Sections.
I wouldn't be surprised if, at this late stage, a collector could collect a full set of Orders and Medals in all the different Types. This includes Jubilee Medals and other things most wouldn't believe are faked. Those faking items range from bespoke one off pieces that are obvious to industrial mass production that needs serious understanding and observation to realise are fake.

Re: Fake "Liberation of" Campaign Medals
Thank you for the reply. I've tried to get better scans of the examples I posted previously. Here is the Prague, which seems to be a T2 according to the main site and based off of the ring type. The concern I have with it is the lack of detail on the leaves at the bottom. But I'm not sure if that alone is enough to disqualify it. Any thoughts?

And here is the Warsaw previously posted as well, with new scans. I'm thinking it is a T3 and nothing really stands out to me based off of what I read about fakes in the archives/threads on here.

Re: Fake "Liberation of" Campaign Medals
Both medal and document appear genuine, though medal's ribbon is misrouted.

Re: Fake "Liberation of" Campaign Medals
Thank you, I don't know how I didn't notice the ribbon. Seems so obvious now.

Would the small void on the rim just left of 12 O'clock be a good example of a casting bubble?
