From May to Nov 1942 - Western front, from May 42 to March 43 - Kalininskiy front, from March to Sept 43 - Voronezhskiy front, from Sept 43 to Nov 44 - Ukraine front, from Nov 44 to now - Belorussian front. Wounds: none From which year in Red Army: from June 1942 Which commission called-up to the Army: military commission of Vasilievskiy Island, Leningrade Earlier awards: "For the battle services" medal, 23 August 1944. Home address and address of family: Ryazan region, Miloslavsk district, Muronnovskiy (?), village of Lubianka. --------------- Brief description of personal deed or achievement: Comrade Zhukov, while working on the "Studebaker" machine that has travelled 34000 kilometers without technical maintenance, has many times driven out of the enemy's artillery, rifle and aircraft fire, defying the dangers to his own life. On the 23th January, near the village of Lavice of Poznan direction, he was the first to drive into the enemy airfield, has rapidly deployed the gun, and the guncrew managed to destroy 3 aircrafts. He has personally killed 5 enemy soldiers with his own fire-arm. Deserves the goverment's award of the Order of Patriotic War of 2nd degree. Signed by commander of artillery division, Captain Sokolov By the order #08/11 on the 21st Guard's mechanized Yaroslavl's brigade in the name of Bogdan Khmelnitskiy from 7th February 1945, was awarded with order of "RED STAR". Guys who know, If this guy was driving a "Studebaker" and was artillery, is it safe to say he was in a group firing "katyusha" rockets?

Maybe he was driving the supply sergeant's truck, doing hot chow and mail runs back up from the BSA. :D
