Honorary Sports Title "Meritorious Master Of Sport Of Russia".

The Honorary Sports Title "Meritorious Master Of Sport Of Russia" (Почетный Спортивный Звание "Заслуженный Мастер Спорта России" is the highest sporting Title of the Russian Federation. The Title is awarded on a points system, a score of 150 points is needed. There is an automatic award for being awarded a Medal at the Olympics, Paralympics or Deaflympics. The points are not easy to accrue as a 3rd place in a team event at the world championships is only 50 points, 1st place is 100.
