Photo - Which Regiment ?

Can anybody recognise the uniform this soldier is wearing ? Thanks

I am no expert, but the cap badge doesn't seem to be army cocade. I would say this man is a serviceman of a differend uniformed service, not the army.

Yes,
but I would rather guess tax official, railway official... But that is still a guess, let's see what others will say.
I remember that there was some russian website dedicated to non-military imperial russian uniforms. I'll see if I can find it.

I have so far failed to locate the site I mentioned, but I have comeacross the follwing articles from "Mundir" on-line magzine:

�� 1915 � 1917 ��.
��

From that, I would lean towards a cadet of some specialised school prepearing oficials of some uniformed service (probably not railway).
I can try to re-post this picture o a different forum, where there are people who are beter at imperial uniforms (at least army ones - not sure if they know anything about services)
