A recent addition... pretty small Hungarian Workers' Party document (2 3/4" x 4 1/8"), dated 25 June 1951 for completion of Basic Political School, held at the Budapest Police Headquarters, to Istvan Sziman (hope I got that right). The badge (standard pin back) and the document, front and back...

Thanks, Ralph! I've managed to snag a few more since then but, it seems, docs are getting progressively difficult to find as time passes.

Greg - Have you seen or know if award documents have been classified?

Ralph,

No, I don't absolutely know of any award documents that have been classified (I'm assuming you are referring to documents that could incriminate those who, since the "fall", have become otherwise employed), but I do have some suspicions- not so much as far as Hungary is concerned but more with regard to Romania. Nothing concrete, though. We can speak more on this when we get together at the show in Ft. Lee.
