It is my understanding that while EVERY veteran and then (1965) serving officer received the 20th Anniversary of Victory in the GPW Medal, ONLY veterans of the military or labor fronts received the 30th and 40th Anniversary of the GPW Jubillee Medals, hence the two different versions. Is this not true?
And, yes, MANY flag rank officers had nine or ten ribbons. Not ALL can be heroes. Many actually had lackluster careers.
I agree, as well, that any admiral or general should have a WHITE, higher academy graduate's badge, not jut the lower, blue "uchiliscshe" badge.

I'd like to point out Russian Federation Admiral uniforms have three rows of buttons like regular Soviet officers, not four. See pic in this thread: http://www.soviet-awards.com/forum/s...ification.html
But, this is probably a self conversion/transition piece. Really nice job on the bullion anchor on the sleeve and replacing the shoulder boards with the new style ones.

Also, when they did wear them, what did the dagger/parade belts of Russian Admirals look like?
