Re: How To Store And Display Awards.
Here is just one of the many boxes that I've come home to - a few days work just opening it all. (The chair is there for scale)
Here is an example of just one of the packages within that big box. 23 Medals "For Bravery", 24 Medals "For Combat Merits", about a dozen Orders, a Title and many other bits. (This is an example of the cheap "pick 'n' mix" from Ukraine - basically metal value) It'll be a long time before it's all sorted and stored away correctly but I will be photographing and scanning it all in the process - something to do during the jetlag. There are so many large boxes from Bulgaria that it is intimidating. I'll leave those for later.

Re: How To Store And Display Awards.
I found a small cabinet of drawers at an estate sale. It held commemorative coins with each drawer having a plastic tray of inserts for the coins. Each drawer is about 1.5” deep with the bottom being around 2”. I removed the trays and lined the drawers. It houses many of my single US medals and bars, custom ribbon sets, British Orders, and my single Soviet goodies.

Re: How To Store And Display Awards.
Seems to be a really simple (and fairly cheap) solution. I've found screwback awards to be a bit of a nightmare to store successfully, but that looks like a solid uniform way to do it.
