A well worn booklet and Medal indicating that Pronin must have been rather proud of his award (and not had an umbrella).

Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

Sergeant Pronin A. F. serves in 91st Separate Auto-Transport Battalion since the beginning of the formation of the Battalion, in the month of February 1943 in the position of section commander. Every effort is given to the matter of the fastest defeat of hated fascism. Promising junior commander, foremost in his behaviour, with exceptional love refers to the service. Comrade Pronin has done great work in organising his staff department in raising the technical readiness of vehicles. Despite of the tense work of the winter-spring offensive of 1945, co-effective running of the machine section is 0.92 with a co-effective use of the fleet of 0.84. Vehicles of his section from 14th January to 1st April 1945 passed 94,320 Km, bringing 467 Tonnes of munitions. Comrade Pronin drove long-haul journeys 72 echelon vehicles. For exemplary service Sergeant Pronin received thanks from the Chief of the automobile section of the army and glad thanks from the sectional commander. Dedicated to the affairs of the party of Lenin-Stalin and Socialist homeland best junior commander of the battalion.
